What is the requirement of the powertrain guards? Is it to shield only the primary cvt or the entire cvt?
Answer
Powertrain guards and shields protecting against hazardous release of energy shall extend around the
periphery of the rotating components (chains, gears, sprockets, belts, and CVT’s) and have a width wider than the rotating part the guard is protecting.
