SAE International and local Baja SAE Arizona Organizers are putting out a “Call for Action” for Volunteers to come support the upcoming student competition September 29 – October 2, 2022. The competition will be taking place at the Tinaja Hills Demonstration and Learning Center in Green Valley, Arizona where SAE hosted the Baja 100 competition back in 2005.

We are looking for industry professionals from the automotive, aerospace, and similar industries who like to engage with future engineers to be part of this existing experience.

Immediate Needs:

• Design Judges. Judges will evaluate the student-built vehicle in addition to the student’s knowledge in design and engineering processes.

• Dynamic Track Volunteers. Volunteers will work in a variety of track operations ensuring safe operations including but not limited to assisting with vehicles on course, assisting with track directions and operations or scoring.
