The 2023 Baja SAE competition season will see three competitions hosted in North America.

Two of the competitions will be hosted in the spring; one competition remaining in the fall. Registration fees will see an increase to $1600 and the registration limit capped at 100 universities for all competitions.

All competitions will operate a waitlist. Competitions must sell out before waitlist are activated. Teams who end up registered on the waitlist must meet all document deadlines to stay active. Teams will have 24 hours to accept an offer to graduate to the registered teams list if opportunity arises. Teams must graduate off the waitlist one month prior to the competition start date to participate.

SAE has published the 2023 Collegiate Design Series schedule is online. Locations and dates below are tentative.

Baja SAE Oregon – Washougal, Washington, May 31-June 3, 2023
Baja SAE Ohio – Nashport, Ohio, September 6 – 10, 2023

*Reminder: 2 Week Registration Restriction - Universities may only register for one competition at the time that registration opens on September 21st. On OCTOBER 5th, the registration restriction will lift allowing teams to register for multiple competitions if they wish.
